Use the name the passenger expects
Enter the family name, full name or group name used in your messages with the passenger. For an international arrival, Latin letters may be easier for airport staff and other travelers to help identify.
Keep the layout simple
Put “Welcome” or “Airport Pickup” on the first line and the passenger name on the second. Avoid adding booking numbers, phone numbers or other private details unless they are truly needed.
Choose strong contrast
White or yellow on black works well under bright terminal lights. Black on lime or yellow is another accessible option. Avoid thin fonts and complex animated backgrounds.
Use stationary text
A still name is usually easier to scan in a crowd than a fast marquee. If the complete name cannot fit, reduce the font size or put the first and last name on separate lines.
Test before leaving
Open the airport pickup sign maker, enter full screen and walk several meters away. Confirm that the name remains readable. Save a PNG as a fallback in case the browser is closed.
At the arrivals hall
Turn the screen toward arriving passengers, increase brightness manually and stand in the agreed meeting area. Keep the device secure and remain aware of people around you.
